Rotary Short Term Exchange presents opportunities for students to advance their knowledge and world understanding by allowing them to exchange in a different country. Participants will live with host families in their selected land usually for three to four weeks in the summer, under the sponsorship of their local Rotary Club. The student returns home with their host student to stay here for three to four weeks as part of the exchange. Any student, age 15-18 of good character who possesses a warm personality and a desire to live abroad and host in return is eligible. Candidates should be adaptable and flexible, well-mannered and want to experience life in other countries and cultures. Children of Rotarians and non-Rotarians are equally eligible.

Applications for the 2020 Summer will be available soon.

Since 1927, students and host families all over the world have had their horizons broadened and their lives enriched by the generosity of Rotary’s Youth Exchange program. Administered by Rotary clubs, districts and multi-district groups, the program today involves more than 82 countries and over 8,000 students each year.
